We recognise the value that specialist organisations provide for those affected by unacceptable behaviour, violence and harassment. 

Please find a list of national services below that you or someone you are close to may wish to access.
 
  • Beat supports people affected by eating disorders. Their Studentline (0808 801 0811) is open 365 days a year, 12.00 - 20.00 during the week or 16.00 - 20.00 at weekends and bank holidays. They also have a web chat service online.
  • CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) offers a helpline and website for young men. Their helpline (0800 58 58 58) and webchat are open 17.00 - midnight all year round.
  • Changing Faces is the UK’s leading charity for everyone with a scar, mark or condition on their face or body that makes them look different.
  • Childline is a private and confidential service for children and young people up to the age of 19.
  • Citizens Advice provides some information if you’re being bullied or harassed at work.
  • Community Security Trust, a charity that protects British Jews from antisemitism and related threats.
  • CRUSE Bereavement Care provides a helpline (0808 808 1677) which is open Monday - Friday, 9.30 - 17.00 (excluding bank holidays) with extended hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays until 20.00.
  • Deaf Plus offers a wide range of services to our clients to develop their potential and promote independence and wellbeing.
  • Drinkline runs a free confidential helpline for people concerned about their drinking. Call 0300 123 1110 Monday - Friday, 9.00 - 20.00 or at weekends between 11.00 - 16.00.
  • Galop is a charity that supports lesbian, gay, bi, trans and queer people affected by sexual and domestic violence. 
  • The Havens provide specialist support for people who have been raped or sexually assaulted. For urgent advice and appointments, please call 020 3299 6900. 
  • Mencap is the leading voice of learning disability.
  • Men's Advice Line provides a helpline for men experiencing domestic violence and abuse. Their helpline (0808 801 0327) is available Monday - Friday, 9.00 - 17.00 and they also have a webchat option available on their website.
  • Mermaids have been helping gender-diverse kids, young people and their families since 1995.
  • The National Domestic Violence Helpline is a 24 hour helpline providing advice and support to women experiencing domestic violence and abuse. Call 0808 2000 247.
  • NHS 111 provides 24 hour information and advice on any health problems or services and can refer callers with mental health problems to local helplines of an approved standard. Call 111.
  • No Panic provides help to those experiencing panic and anxiety-related problems. Their main helpline is open every day between 10.00 - 22.00. Call 0844 967 4848 (charges may apply).
  • NSPCC provides a 24 hour helpline (0808 800 5000) for anyone concerned about a child or young person at risk of abuse.
  • Papyrus HOPELineUK provides a specialist telephone service giving support, practical advice and information to young people (up to the age of 35) who are worried about how they are feeling or to anyone who is concerned about a young person. The telephone service is available Monday - Friday, 10.00 - 22.00 (weekends and bank holidays, 14.00 - 22.00). Call 0800 068 4141. 
  • Rape Crisis provides a national helpline which is open every day between 12.00 - 14.30 and 19.00-21.30. Call 0808 802 9999.
  • SANE provides emotional support and information to anyone affected by mental illness, including friends, families and carers. The helpline (0300 304 7000) is open between 16.30 - 22.30 every evening. 
  • The Samaritans provide emotional support to anyone in emotional distress, struggling to cope, or at risk of suicide throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland. Call 116 123, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
  • Solace provides advice and support for women for domestic abuse and sexual violence. 
  • Stop Hate UK offer support to victims of hate crime
  • Survivors UK offer information, support and counselling for men and boys who have been raped or sexually abused. 
  • Switchboard provides a LGBT+ helpline between 10.00 - 22.00, 365 days a year. They give advice, information and support to the LGBT+ community. Call 0300 330 0630.
  • Talk to Frank provides 24 hour confidential information and advice to those affected by drugs and substance abuse. Call 0300 123 6600.
  • Tell Mama measure anti-Muslim hate crimes and harassment.
  • The Young Minds crisis messenger service provides free, 24 hour support across the UK. Text VM to 85258.
